IIRIS Launches Nigeria Office, Expands Security Solutions Across Africa

IIRIS launches Nigeria office, bringing AI-driven security solutions and strengthening ties between Nigeria and India.

IIRIS, a global leader in risk management and security solutions, announced the launch of its Nigeria office with a grand opening ceremony at Hotel Lagos Continental, marking a significant expansion of its operations into Africa.

The event drew an impressive gathering, featuring top officials from various sectors, including government officials, industry leaders, and dignitaries. Notable attendees from Nigerian government included representatives from the Honourable Minister of Interior, National Security Adviser, Chief of Defence Staff, Chief of Air Staff, Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service, Inspector General of Police for Lagos, and Commander of Nigeria Civil Defence Commission and Cyber Crime Division.

The chief guest at the event was Senator Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia, Deputy Chief of Staff at the office of the Vice President of Nigeria, and the guest of honour was Mr. Chandra Mouli, Consul General of India at Lagos.

In his welcome speech, Senator Hadejia expressed optimism about the modern cutting-edge security technology that IIRIS would introduce to the Nigerian market. Mr. Chandra Mouli highlighted the $27 billion investment that India has made in Nigeria, a testament to the longstanding bilateral relationship between the two nations.

Mr. Satyagopal Bhanja, CEO of IIRIS Nigeria, emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality risk management services and AI-ML driven solutions. He also introduced the board of advisors for IIRIS Nigeria, which includes prominent figures such as Dr. Willie Eselebor, former Controller of Nigeria Immigration and ex-Professor at the University of Ibadan; Olusegun H. Olugbile, Cyber Security Policy Advisor; and Major General Salihu Z. Uba, former Nigerian Army DSO.

During their presentation, Mr. Garry Singh, President of IIRIS, and Ms. Sagarika Chakraborty, CEO of IIRIS Gulf & Africa, discussed how the collaboration between Nigeria and India would help both countries become future-ready to tackle global risks.
