Ooredoo Establishes Fan Zones Across Oman to Celebrate FIFA Arab Cup 2021

In order to celebrate the FIFA Arab Cup 2021, Ooredoo has set up ‘Fan Zones’ where people can come and watch the game outdoors.

In celebration of the FIFA Arab Cup 2021, Ooredoo is inviting football fans and their families to experience the spirit of the game at one of three special fan zones across the country. Available in Muscat, Salalah and Sohar, fans will be able to watch every game outdoors on the big screen, enjoying the winter weather along with a host of other fun activities. Happening from 30 November to 18 December 2021, the tournament will see 16 teams from across the Arab world, including Oman, competing for the sports event of the season.

As the “Official Middle East & Africa Telecommunications Operator” of the FIFA Arab Cup 2021, Ooredoo Group has always had close affiliations with many the region’s most popular sports and sporting events. With Leo Messi as its brand ambassador and a long-term partnership with Paris Saint-Germain, some of its major sports initiatives include the Ooredoo Sports App in Doha, the Ooredoo Football Academy in Tunisia, and the Ooredoo Marathon in Kuwait. Meanwhile, Ooredoo Oman runs various programmes over the year to inspire a sporting culture in the Sultanate and around the region.
