Holiday Greetings from the TechAfrica News Family!

Hello Beloved Reader,

I think we can all agree that 2021 has been an eventful year. To begin with, we all grappled with the reality of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic which affected our personal and professional lives to a great deal. We saw the various sectors, industries, and its workforce face the brunt of the pandemic, yet the consistent effort of the entire medical community kept us going and we are ever grateful for their efforts.

This year also saw severe disruptions in the telecommunication sector with the pandemic and the South African riots which caused massive damage to telecom companies and their property. In the face of such senseless violence, we saw the telecom companies step up and take charge to restore normalcy so that we can stay connected to their loved ones.

However, such events did not deter the Tech, and Telecom industries to continue on their path of innovation as we saw several big advancements in satellite, 5G, and other sectors. Along with these innovations, online media houses such as ours also did not succumb to the challenges, rather our team at TechAfrica News, worked relentlessly to bring you authentic coverage from the continent.

As 2021 comes to an end, all we now hope for is that we can move to a new beginning towards fostering creativity and innovation. We are looking towards the future with tremendous hope and from the entire TechAfrica News family we want to wish you a merry Christmas and a very happy new year.

Best wishes,
Akim Benamara,
Founder, TechAfrica News
