MTN Uganda Appoints Richard Yego to Lead Mobile Money
MTN Uganda has appointed Richard Yego as the new Managing Director for MTN Mobile Money Uganda Ltd.
Richard Yego joins MTN Mobile Money with over 16 years of experience in the banking and digital financial sector.
The move by MTN is spurned by the popularity of digital payment and mobile money in the past few years. MTN Mobile Money has over 8.5 million active subscribers and it controls 55% of the number of digital payment transactions.
