Smart Africa Digital Academy launched in Rwanda

SADA in partnership with the Ministry of ICT and Innovation will launch a national digital academy in Rwanda, marking the official rollout of in-country implementation of the pan-African initiative.

“SADA-Rwanda is launched today as a platform, which aims to reduce the critical digital skills gap within the burgeoning digital ecosystem of Rwanda to support the rapidly evolving digital economy. This platform will bring together the private sector, international organizations, training providers, academia with the government of Rwanda, being the driving force, to educate citizens, government workers, IT staff among others”

“I want to thank Smart Africa for being such a valuable partner that consistently and constantly supports our digital transformation agenda. We are glad that we get to be among the first 7 adopters of this program where over 500 individuals have been trained including personnel from the education sector, security, and more to come in agriculture and other sectors”
