We have been expanding our branch network to reach more people in rural communities and empower more Malawians to send and receive money from wherever they are.

Apart from enabling customers to manage their money directly from their mobile phones, we have further enhanced the Airtel Money platform which now supports international money transfers to and from Malawi using additional partners that have been on-boarded over recent years.

Apart from our 1,000 plus branches nationwide, we have also grown our agent network to over 70,000 agents, many of whom are first-time business owners. These agents have the opportunity of running the mobile money agent service alongside their businesses.”
