MTN has donated UGX.50 million to the Uganda Red Cross Society to support 100 displaced families with non-food relief kits following the recent floods that destroyed lives and property in the Elgon region.

The money will be used to provide 100 start-up nonfood items/ relief kits to support the most vulnerable of the displaced families. These kits will support up to 600 people.

This underpins MTN’s commitment to improving the lives of the people in the communities within which it operates by complementing the government’s efforts in national priority areas including disaster responses.
