The Minister of Human Resources Honors stc for its Continuous Community Work

His Excellency the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, honored stc Group for its efforts as a pioneering company in social responsibility and its empowerment of associations and non-profit organizations, and its contributions that have a social impact. The honor was received on behalf of the group by Eng. Mohammed bin Rashid Abalkhail, Vice President of the Institutional Relations Sector. His Excellency also honored The Minister and CEO of Channels by stc, Eng. Faisal Al-Ateeq, for her role in supporting and localizing jobs and providing the opportunity for male and female citizens to develop their skills in the communications and information technology sector. Eng. Human resources and social development The eighteenth for distinguished private sector companies and institutions at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.

This honor comes in exchange for the group’s role in enabling the non-profit sector digitally through its programs and initiatives that contributed to improving social services systems for its beneficiaries, as stc group implemented many initiatives within the framework of social responsibility, most notably the equipment and operation of 22 health centers across the Kingdom in cooperation with the Ministry of Health at a cost of 100 million The community investments provided by the group to the country amounted to nearly 58 million riyals, through which it provided support and empowerment to non-profit organizations through the sustainability platform, through which it launched the digital empowerment program for the non-profit sector, benefiting more than 386 associations and non-profit organizations serving more than 10 Millions of beneficiaries.

The ministry also praised the pioneering role played by channels by stc in localizing jobs in the company, where the percentage of Saudi nationals reached 92%, which reflects the success of the group’s strategy as a leading digital and national enabler that contributes to achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030
