During AfricaCom 2022, Francis Letourneau President & CEO of NuRan Wireless  met with TechAfrica News to discuss the future of connectivity and how to connect billions of people in rural and remote regions to a fast, reliable and scalable wireless network through innovative and affordable solutions. Bridging the digital divide, one connection at a time.

NuRAN Wireless has been in a tireless pursuit to take reliable connectivity to the most remote areas globally with their wireless, 2G, 3G, and 4G connectivity solutions.

Our conversation covered the operations, successes, and future of NuRAN Wireless in Africa. Mr. Letourneau shed light onto several ongoing partnerships of the company with MTN Ivory Coast and Sudan. He also talked about their solutions and what has helped them set apart in the past years.

“We started as an equipment company. We’ve tested and did trials with a lot of operators across the globe. We overcame a lot of challenges – power, cost, installation etc. So, we made it simple, we made it cost-effective and that’s what makes us unique and make sure we are able to connect Africa in an economic way.”
