In recognition of its leading technological services and infrastructure, Ooredoo has won the award for best “Data Centre Infrastructure” at Oman’s 2nd Big Data and Analytics Awards. The accolade recognises Ooredoo’s continuous effort to contribute to Oman’s ongoing transformation into a knowledge-based and technologically advanced economy.

Ooredoo remains committed to investing in technology transformation and successfully set up its Data Centre in Bausher, while it is expanding with more infrastructure in Salalah, Barka and Sohar. These state-of-the-art data centres represent a breakthrough for hosting and data processing in the Sultanate, and are set up to support Ooredoo’s growing 5G capabilities.
