Author: Akim Benamara

In a recent announcement, Airtel Uganda disclosed that they have switched on 29 new masts in 12 districts across the country.

These 12 districts include Hoima, Kampala, Jinja, Kabarole, Bushenyi, Gulu, Mbarara, Luwero, Moroto, Wakiso, Isingiro, and Rukungiri.

These new sites are expected to help with the expansion and adoption of ICTs in the health, education, and agriculture sectors of the country.

Under the Parish Development Model, the country is focused on transforming the parishes and creating opportunities for the people. Airtel Uganda is pleased to support these efforts by building and deploying a Smartphone Network that is complementary to these efforts.

Mr. Agarwal Rajesh, Networks Director, Airtel Uganda
