Africa Mobile Networks has announced that it has signed a contract with Orange to build 500 mobile network base stations in Madagascar. Work is already underway and a significant number of sites will come online to deliver Orange service before the end of 2023. AMN currently owns and operates more than 3,300 base stations across 14 countries and more than 700 of these are delivering Orange service today. AMN expressed its delight to extend further its successful partnership with Orange.

The operator is continuing to invest in its network infrastructure to improve coverage in rural areas, in line with the government’s programme to reduce the digital divide.
