stc Partners with Lucid Motors to Provide Connectivity for Lucid’s Customers

stc Group, the most prominent digital enabler in the Kingdom, announced its partnership with Lucid Motors, a leading company in the field of electric cars, which aims to provide a connectivity system in its vehicles and ensure seamless connectivity for Lucid customers. The scope of the agreement seeks to enable connectivity services as it provides Lucid with advanced telematics and in-vehicle communication services, providing its customers with a pioneering digital driving experience.  

stc is working to provide a range of connectivity services to Lucid customers, whereby Lucid drivers will be able to take advantage of many benefits, including continuous improvements to the vehicle’s control systems and infotainment systems via OTA updates, remote vehicle diagnostics and serviceability, and remote control of the vehicle. Distance via the Lucid Mobile app, play music through in-car apps like Spotify, update digital maps more quickly with real-time traffic for optimal routing based on the vehicle’s battery charge status, and find the vehicle in the parking lot via the mobile app.

The partnership with Lucid Motors qualifies stc as a digital enabler to facilitate the provision and management of advanced in-vehicle services and gives us a basis for innovation and meeting the changing needs of customers with the development of new services.
