Samsung and Omantel to Launch a One-Stop Shop in Oman

An MoU establishing the collaboration was signed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona by Samsung Gulf Electronics President and Omantel CEO. Samsung and Omantel, Oman’s leading telecommunications provider, have announced a new partnership to accelerate growth across the Sultanate of Oman. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) establishing the collaboration was signed at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona by Doohee Lee, President of Samsung Gulf Electronics, and Talal Said Al Mamari, the Chief Executive Officer of Omantel.

As per the agreement, the two companies will work together to position Omantel as a one-stop shop for the entire Samsung range of consumer and business smart devices and solutions. The two companies will also jointly explore opportunities and enhance brand visibility across all verticals within Omantel. Commenting on the partnership, Doohee Lee said, “Oman’s sophisticated customers have long demanded the best and that is why Samsung remains the leading premium brand in the country.
