Safaricom has announced that they have been recognized as Kenya’s most inclusive listed company at the 2023 Diar Awards.

The award, which comes at a time when we have achieved 40% of women in senior leadership, recognizes and celebrates our efforts to attract, grow and retain employees from diverse backgrounds with a focus on gender, persons with disabilities, youth, and other marginalized and under-represented communities.

Our Chief Human Resources Officer, Paul Kasimu FIHRM, was also feted in the C-Suite Executives Category, which recognizes the impact of leaders who are intentional at enabling Diversity and Inclusion at their workplaces and beyond.

Statement by Safaricom

In line with its commitment to the Sustainable Development Goals Safaricom mentioned that they continue to take deliberate steps to create an inclusive workplace and ensure no one is left behind.
