MWC 2023: Specure on Improving Telecom Infrastructure and Customer Experience

Specure , a leading network quality and performance measurement solutions provider, participated in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. TechAfrica News had the opportunity to sit down with Specure’s managing director, Jozef Svrcek, to discuss the company’s offerings and its role in the telecommunications industry during the event.
At MWC Barcelona, Specure showcased its network quality and performance measurement solutions, including its Open Nettest platform. This platform offers real-time measurement of network quality and customer experience, providing operators and regulators valuable insights into network performance.
Specure recently provided its solutions for a frequency auction in Nigeria, which was different from those in Europe. This auction included a new frequency band, 3.5 GHz, which is crucial for deploying 5G networks.
I am glad to share that Specure was an auction system supplier to the Nigerian Communications Commission, for one the biggest 5G auctions in Africa, with proceeds amounting to $547.2 million. The two winners, MTN Nigeria and Mafab Communications, gained a 100 MHz block each for the 5G networks rollout.
