April 3, 2023

Author: Aayushya Ranjan

Vodacom Lesotho has announced June 23, 2023, as the end date for the registration of all active SIM Cards.

As the deadline fast approaches, it is important to remind SIM Card holders of the consequences of non-registration which include, among others, SIM Card deactivation with the attendant risk of the holder losing their subscriber number together with the data and related services such as mobile money (M-Pesa) as well as possible delays in post-deadline registration.

Tsépo Ntaopane, Executive Head Regulatory and External Affairs Manager, Vodacom Lesotho

Vodacom has identified registration points which are Vodacom Centres country-wide, certain hospitals, community council offices, border gates and taxi ranks. Subscribers are encouraged to approach these centres with their National ID Cards and register their SIM Cards free of charge.

Palesa Kaloli, Executive Head of Sales and Distribution, Vodacom Lesotho
