Cina LawsonCina Lawson, the Minister of Digital Economy and Transformation of Togo welcomed David Malpass, President of The World Bank, to the landing station of Google’s Equiano submarine cable in Togo this week.

Alongside Prime Minister Victoire Tomegah Dogbé and members of the Gouvernement Togolais, they had the opportunity to showcase this that is helping revolutionize Togo’s digital landscape.

With Equiano’s activation on the horizon, we are poised to unlock new opportunities for innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth.

I would like to thank all those who joined us, including representatives from IFC – International Finance Corporation and CSquared, for making this visit a success.
