MTN Restores Internet in Sudan Amit Political Chaos

Sudan has been seen as the epicenter of violence and clashes that erupted on Saturday between the army units loyal to Gen Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), led by Gen Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo.

MTN had initially blocked all internet access in the country amid the clashes, but further reports confirmed that later on 16th April, MTN restored the connectivity.

The clashes in Sudan is the result of a power struggle and have claimed the lives of dozens of fighters and 56 civilians in the last reported statistic,
