MTN Ghana Reconnects Almost 2 Million SIM Cards

Following the disconnection of an additional 37,146 SIM Cards in March 2023, MTN Ghana has now reconnected close to 2 Million SIM Cards which have now completed their biometric capture.

The National Communication Authority had directed all the mobile operators that all the SIM Cards which had not completed their Stage 2 Registration i.e. the Biometric capture should be disconnected by March 31st, 2023.

MTN Ghana has expressed its commitment to the national SIM re-registration exercise and they have reiterated that they will continue to deploy resources to help forward the SIM re-registration for the subscribers.
