Airtel Nigeria and AXA Mansard to Launch a Digital Health Product

Airtel Nigeria has partnered with AXA Mansard Insurance to launch a revolutionary digital health product that is set to transform healthcare access for millions of Nigerians.

With over 95% of the population lacking any form of health insurance, this affordable healthcare product is a game-changer. Anyone with a data-enabled smartphone can subscribe to the healthcare bundle and access healthcare services with ease. The process is simple and straightforward – customers will need to purchase the data via a unique code and dial 14444# to subscribe to the various health bundles. What’s more, customers can engage with doctors and get medical advice from the comfort of their homes, the same way it would look like if the patient walked into a hospital.

This partnership demonstrates Airtel Nigeria’s commitment to promoting universal healthcare access in the country. By supporting the government agenda that mandates every Nigerian to have health insurance under the National Health Insurance Authority Bill, Airtel Nigeria is working towards addressing the painful issue of having the largest economy in Africa provide health insurance to only 5% of its population.

And as health is integral for every human being and society that intends to build a robust economy, we continue to urge Nigerians to take up this plan simply by joining Airtel Nigeria!
