Safaricom Welcomes Anthony Gacanja as Director Network

Safaricom, a leading telecommunications company, is delighted to announce the appointment of Anthony Gacanja as the Director of Network, effective from 19th June 2023.

In his new position, Anthony will report directly to the Chief Technology & Information Officer and will assume responsibility for the design, construction, implementation, performance, and advancement of all network infrastructure within Safaricom. His primary objective will be to ensure the delivery of an exceptional quality of service to Safaricom’s esteemed customer base. Additionally, Anthony will oversee the management of existing Information System Services while spearheading the implementation of new systems.

With an impressive track record spanning over two decades, Anthony brings a wealth of experience in various areas of Information Technology Governance and Operations. His expertise includes Cyber Security, Information Risk Assurance, and Software Development. Having previously been associated with Safaricom, Anthony’s return to the company is highly anticipated. His extensive knowledge and skills will undoubtedly contribute to the company’s continued success.
