QGroup, a Sweden-based global technology investment group, has recently made a strategic investment in Specno, an innovation agency. This partnership aims to leverage Specno’s unique innovation framework and growth strategies to drive advancements in the European and African tech sectors.

Mikael Kretz, the founder of QGroup, expressed confidence in Specno’s expertise in building successful tech ventures and their commitment to fostering innovation ecosystems. He stated that the collaboration with Specno aligns perfectly with QGroup’s investment strategy and provides valuable insights into Africa’s rapidly growing tech industry, while also offering world-class development resources to Swedish businesses.

The investment from QGroup enables Specno to expand its ventures in the African market and simultaneously offers QGroup the opportunity to provide venture building services to their European client base. Specno CEO and co-founder, Daniel Novitzkas, highlighted the partnership’s capacity to take on large-scale projects and the potential for QGroup to leverage Specno’s expertise and insights to explore opportunities in Africa’s thriving tech market.

Specno emphasized the importance of local context in building successful ventures and expressed enthusiasm for the growth opportunities that the deal brings. The agency remains committed to investing in its staff’s training and development, aiming to employ and train local talent in both economies.

Furthermore, QGroup’s strong interest in supporting Specno aligns with the agency’s ambitious goal of expanding into 100 cities over the next five years and becoming the leading agency in each location. Specno plans to distribute its context-specific playbook on building successful tech ventures to over one million entrepreneurs by 2030.

One of the key conditions of the partnership was that Specno maintains its independence and DNA, preserving its startup culture and its commitment to creating an attractive workplace for ambitious young professionals. Novitzkas emphasized that this opportunity not only allows Specno to stay true to its mission but also provides the necessary resources and expertise to make their goals a reality.
