Airtel Nigeria Completes Employee Promotion Cycle, Recognizing Staff Contributions

Telecommunications firm, Airtel Nigeria, has successfully concluded its employee promotion cycle for the financial year 2022/2023. The promotions came into effect from April 1, 2023, and spanned across all six regions of the company’s operations in the country, serving as a recognition of employees’ valuable contributions.

Airtel Nigeria places a significant emphasis on employee development and career fulfillment, fostering a culture of consistent recognition and rewards for high-performing staff. The company aims to create an enabling environment where employees can hone their skills and collaborate effectively to deliver exceptional services to customers.

The statement by Femi Adeniran, Director of Corporate Communications and CSR at Airtel Nigeria, revealed that promotions are conducted twice yearly, in July and December. In the first batch of elevations for 2023, a total of 20 employees advanced to senior leadership roles, including three women, and one staff member was promoted to a vice president position.

Carl Cruz, the Chief Executive Officer of Airtel Nigeria, expressed his delight in witnessing the growth of the company’s employees, who play a crucial role in driving the organization’s progress. He emphasized that Airtel Nigeria is committed to upholding global best practices and continuously highlighting exceptional employees who embody the company’s core values of excellence. Cruz warmly welcomed the newly promoted staff and extended his best wishes for their continued success in their careers.
