At IBC 2023 in Amsterdam, our founder Akim Benamara spoke to Mware COO Cees van Versendaal about the company’s latest innovations and its pursuit to ensure effortless TV and VOD services deployment.

The company’s new platform has introduced key components that empower users to craft personalized apps along with an integrated billing module. Cees highlighted how MwareTV’s cloud-based platform aids service providers in optimizing costs and revenue alignment, emphasizing the value of collaboration with local partners for organizational and regional cohesion.

Our platform is cloud-based, so the technology stack is quite low anyway. On top of that, you have the streaming, which we can facilitate in a very cost-effective way. We help them with content, which is really targeting the mass market of Africa. We believe that there is a bigger market in what I call the middle area.
