Amazon Web Services Launches Development Centre in Kenya

Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) has inaugurated its new development hub in Kenya. The launch event saw the presence of esteemed guests including H.E. President William Ruto, Nairobi County Governor Sakaja Johnson, PS Eng. John Kipchumba Tanui, MBS, and US Ambassador Meg Whitman.

The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Kenya Development Centre launch is an affirmation of Kenya’s local tech talent and will host AWS research and development teams building solutions, while supporting AWS customers across the globe. The centre creates new highly skilled jobs in software development, cloud support, software engineering and telecommunications.
