Airtel Zambia Prioritizes Tech for Economic Growth and Inclusion

Airtel Zambia, a prominent player in the telecommunications sector, reaffirms its commitment to leveraging technology for economic advancement and sustainability. The company is actively engaging with the Zambian government to explore avenues for participation in digital communication and financial inclusion initiatives.

In line with its strategic objectives, Airtel is dedicated to extending its network coverage to previously underserved regions. This expansion aims to enhance digital and financial inclusion, ensuring the reliability of its services.

Recently, the Interim Managing Director, Mr. Hussam Baday, paid a courtesy visit to the Minister of Technology and Science, Honourable Felix Mutati. During the meeting, Mr. Baday introduced himself and engaged in discussions about various initiatives and programs undertaken by the telecommunications giant. This meeting underscores Airtel’s commitment to fostering technological progress and economic growth in Zambia.
