UAE Leads Global 5G Speeds: Ookla’s Q3 2023 Analysis Reveals Dynamic Performance Trends

In its latest Speedtest data analysis for Q3 2023, Ookla delved into the dynamic landscape of 5G network performance worldwide. The report showcased the top-performing countries, emphasizing changes from the previous year and shedding light on customer satisfaction and fixed network performance.

The standout leaders in 5G performance during Q3 2023 were the United Arab Emirates and South Korea, boasting the fastest median 5G download speeds globally at 592.01 Mbps and 507.59 Mbps, respectively. The top 10 countries also featured impressive performances from Malaysia, Qatar, Brazil, the Dominican Republic, Kuwait, Macau, Singapore, and India. Notably, Malaysia, the Dominican Republic, and India made significant advancements, while Bulgaria, Saudi Arabia, New Zealand, and Bahrain dropped out of the top 10 rankings, reflecting the dynamic nature of global 5G performance trends.
