Vumacam, a leading provider of public safety infrastructure, has recently completed the installation of over 7000 cameras across Gauteng as part of its Safe City Initiative. This initiative, aimed at addressing city-wide safety concerns, represents a significant step towards creating safer and more secure communities for residents and commuters alike.

Through partnerships with both public and private sectors, Vumacam is actively working to enhance public safety infrastructure and promote efficient resource allocation. By leveraging advanced surveillance technology, the initiative aims to provide comprehensive coverage of public spaces, enabling law enforcement agencies to better monitor and respond to potential security threats.

In a recent statement on Facebook, Vumacam commended Premier Panyaza Lesufi and the Gauteng Provincial Government (GPG) for their proactive approach in fighting crime. The partnership between Vumacam and the GPG underscores a shared commitment to improving public safety and security across the region.
