Airtel Africa’s Chairman, Sunil Bharti Mittal recently led a delegation of executives on courtesy visits to senior government officials in Gabon and Nigeria.

In Gabon, the team met the Prime Minister of Gabon and highlighted Airtel Africa’s ongoing initiatives in the country. This includes the ‘One Web’ project — a groundbreaking endeavour leveraging low-earth orbit satellites to extend high-speed internet access to every corner of Gabon, bridging the digital divide.

In Nigeria, the team met the Honorable Minister of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy, Dr. ‘Bosun Tijani. Their discussions focused on exploring opportunities for collaboration and partnerships.

These engagements underscore our dedication to partnering with governments in leveraging technology to drive socio-economic progress across Africa.

We look forward to continuing our collaboration to transform lives, empower communities and foster inclusive growth.
