Tigo Tanzania Plc has unveiled a Fiber to Home and Fiber to Office internet service, revolutionizing internet access for consumers and businesses. Spearheaded by Chief of Tigo Business, John Sicilima, and Head of Brand and Communications, Anna Loya, the launch highlights Tigo’s dedication to advancing digital transformation in Tanzania.

The launch of Tigo Fiber marks a significant milestone as the first-ever introduction of Fiber to Home and Fiber to Office services by a telecom operator in Tanzania. Offering competitive prices ranging from 70,000 Tshs (10Mbps) to 200,000 Tshs (100Mbps), Tigo’s new service ensures reliable, low-latency, high-speed internet access. Initially available in Mbweni town and surrounding areas in Dar es Salaam, the service will soon expand to other regions across the country.
