MTN Group Launches Share Sale in MTN Uganda
MTN Group Limited has announced the launch of a share sale by its subsidiary, MTN International (Mauritius) Limited, in MTN Uganda. This offer aims to comply with Ugandan regulatory licence conditions and aligns with MTN’s goal to increase local shareholding in MTN Uganda.
The sale will be open to a broad range of investors, including Ugandan retail and professional investors, providing them with the opportunity to own a stake in the company and participate in its future growth.
The offer period runs from 27 May 2024 to 10 June 2024. As MTN Uganda is a subsidiary of MTN, shareholders are advised to look out for additional details regarding the offer.
