Eutelsat OneWeb Expands with New Satellite Network Portal in Luanda, Angola
Eutelsat OneWeb has unveiled a new Satellite Network Portal (SNP) in Luanda, Angola, enhancing its low Earth orbit (LEO) network. This ground station, approved by Honorable Minister Mr. Mario Olivera and Mr. Joaquim Muhongo, Chairman of INACOM (Instituto Angolano das Comunicações), is set to boost connectivity across Angola and the broader African continent.
Satellite Network Portals are crucial for enabling seamless data transmission from satellites to users on Earth. The Luanda SNP will play a vital role in providing high-speed internet access, particularly in underserved areas, and fostering socio-economic development.
