NIGCOMSAT Upgrades Technology, Partners with Dimension Data to Enhance Satellite Services

The Nigerian Communication Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) has announced a significant upgrade to its technology infrastructure, positioning itself to deliver superior satellite services. This development is part of a new partnership agreement with Dimension Data, a prominent IT solutions provider.

The partnership, formalized in Lagos on Friday, involves NIGCOMSAT providing internet services to Dimension Data using its NigComSat-1R network platform. This agreement is initially set for one year and is part of NIGCOMSAT’s broader strategy to cement its position as a key player in the satellite industry.

Egerton-Idehen expressed optimism about the collaboration, noting the successful completion of a pilot scheme with Dimension Data and the signing of a Master Service Agreement.
