Airtel Kenya has launched a new initiative called GB kwa GB, designed to propel the digital revolution across the country. The campaign is targeted at both new customers joining the Airtel Network with a smartphone and existing customers upgrading from a feature phone to a smartphone.

Under the GB kwa GB offer, customers will receive 1GB of free data every week for six months upon upgrading. To benefit from this promotion, customers need to top up a minimum of Ksh 50 weekly, making the offer affordable and accessible for a wide range of users.

During the campaign’s launch, Airtel Kenya’s Managing Director, Ashish Malhotra, emphasized the company’s dedication to integrating more Kenyans into the digital economy and advancing digital inclusion. He noted that Airtel Kenya’s investment in advanced network technology is intended to benefit all Kenyans. Marketing Director Prisca Murigu was also present at the announcement, underscoring the importance of this initiative in supporting the country’s digital growth.
