World Bank Seeks Firm to Enhance Cameroon’s Cybersecurity Infrastructure

August 5, 2024

The World Bank has launched a procurement initiative aimed at strengthening the cybersecurity foundations of Cameroon. This initiative seeks a qualified firm to undertake a series of analyses and reports with two primary objectives: enhancing the capacity of the Government of Cameroon and local stakeholders to identify gaps and growth paths in managing cybersecurity risks, particularly concerning digital infrastructure; and improving the environment for secure electronic transactions through a better regulatory framework for e-signature and a sustainable Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) architecture.

This project falls under the category of “Contract Consultants” and focuses on leveraging advanced Information and Communications Technologies to address cybersecurity challenges in Cameroon. The selected firm will play a crucial role in building the country’s resilience against cyber threats and fostering a secure digital ecosystem.

Interested firms are invited to submit their expressions of interest, demonstrating their qualifications and relevant experience. Submissions should include brochures, descriptions of similar assignments, and information on staff skills. Firms can also form associations to enhance their qualifications. The deadline for submission is specified in the solicitation documents, and the total size of all attachments should be less than 5MB. The lead firm in any association must be clearly identified, as it will be the main point of contact during the request for proposal phase.
