Airtel Reaffirms Commitment to Digital Connectivity and Financial Inclusion in Niger

Airtel, a long-standing partner of the Government of Niger, continues its commitment to enhancing digital connectivity across the country. In a recent meeting with H.E. Seydou Asman, the Minister of Trade and Industry, Mr. Akhil Gupta, Vice Chairman of Bharti Enterprises, highlighted Airtel’s ongoing efforts in supporting Niger’s digital economy.

During the meeting, Mr. Gupta expressed gratitude to the government for its consistent support in these initiatives. He emphasized Airtel’s focus on strengthening the country’s digital infrastructure, which plays a critical role in fostering economic growth and development.

With 14 years of operation in Niger, Airtel has been instrumental in driving both connectivity and financial inclusion. The company remains a pioneering force in advancing Niger’s technological landscape and empowering its citizens through accessible digital services.
