Author: Aayushya Ranjan

iColo, a subsidiary of Digital Realty, has reportedly taken a major step forward in its renewable energy initiatives by installing solar panels at its Kenyan data centers. The company has successfully added over 650 kilowatts (kW) of solar energy capacity to its Nairobi and Mombasa facilities. This initiative highlights iColo’s dedication to sustainable practices while ensuring uninterrupted, eco-friendly power for its operations.

This addition marks a crucial point in iColo’s long-term sustainability strategy, as the company seeks to significantly reduce its environmental impact. By integrating solar energy into its infrastructure, iColo is not only enhancing energy efficiency but also contributing to global efforts in addressing climate change.
