Egyptian Space Agency Unveils Largest Awareness Program Across Governorates

The Space Technology Ambassadors program integrates space sciences to advance Egypt’s sustainable development goals.

The Egyptian Space Agency (EGSA), in partnership with the “Engineers for Sustainable Egypt” initiative, has launched the first batch of the largest awareness program across Egypt’s governorates, titled “Space Technology Ambassadors.” Led by Mr. Dr. Sherif Sedky, CEO of EGSA, and Mr. Eng. Mohamed Kamel, head of “Engineers for Sustainable Egypt,” the program seeks to integrate space sciences and technology into achieving sustainable development goals, aligning with Egypt’s Vision 2030.

This two-week initiative offers critical lectures on the uses of space, the role of space technology in industry development, space applications for supporting sustainable development, and investment opportunities in space. Delivered by leading experts, the program aims to raise awareness, improve skills in space technology, and equip participants with essential knowledge to drive sustainable progress.
