HSRI and BOMA@UNGA Partner to Drive Health Innovation and Economic Growth in Africa

AUDA-NEPAD and CCA collaborate to boost Africa’s health sector through investment, innovation, and partnerships.

The Corporate Council on Africa’s (CCA) U.S.-Africa Health Security and Resilience Initiative (HSRI) joined forces with BOMA@UNGA to explore transformative opportunities in health finance and innovation across Africa. During the event, CCA celebrated the launch of the AUDA-NEPAD Program for Investment and Financing in Africa’s Health Sector, underscoring its commitment to turning health challenges into economic opportunities. The initiative aims to build a healthier and wealthier future for the continent through strategic partnerships and investments.

Kenyan President H.E. William Ruto delivered remarks at the event, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in strengthening Africa’s healthcare systems. The panel discussion, supported by HSRI members Roche, PATH, and USP, highlighted the critical role of innovative solutions in reshaping Africa’s health landscape.

By fostering partnerships between public and private sectors, the HSRI and AUDA-NEPAD aim to address Africa’s health challenges while unlocking economic growth, paving the way for long-term resilience and security in the healthcare sector.
