Author: Joyce Onyeagoro

The State of Qatar, through its Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA), is set to host a significant workshop organized by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) from October 1 to 3. This event, focused on promoting and measuring inclusive and meaningful connectivity, will bring together ICT experts from across Arab countries.

The workshop aims to explore strategies that can improve digital inclusion and universal connectivity in the Arab world. It will serve as a platform for policymakers, industry experts, and representatives from both the public and private sectors to exchange ideas, share best practices, and discuss innovative solutions to address communication challenges. By fostering collaboration between key stakeholders, the event seeks to drive tangible progress in bridging the digital divide and ensuring that connectivity across the region is both inclusive and sustainable.
