Dr. Bosun Tijani advocates for Digital Public Infrastructure to Strengthen Africa’s Digital Transformation underscores Digital Public Infrastructure’s role in trust, governance, and collaboration, urging Africa to leverage youth for digital transformation.

The Nigerian Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, represented by Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi, CCIE, delivered a keynote on the importance of Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI) in building trust between governments and citizens, emphasising how digital transformation is reshaping society and driving sustainable development, urging collaboration to bridge the digital divide.

Inuwa highlighted Africa’s youthful population as key to leading the Fourth Industrial Revolution and stressed the need for equitable, secure, and transparent DPI to ensure good governance. He also introduced the African DPI Community, a platform for collaboration to accelerate digital transformation across the continent.
