Dr. Bosun Tijani, Nigeria’s Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, announced the launch of the Nigeria AI Collective. Supported by partners like Luminate, which has committed $1.5 million, the collective aims to enhance Nigeria’s AI landscape. This marks a significant step for Nigeria as it positions itself as a key player in Africa’s AI sector, focusing on knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and the development of innovation-promoting policies.
