MTN Uganda and TECNO Donate Laptops to Empower Rural Schools in #YelloCare2024 Initiative

MTN Uganda, in partnership with TECNO, donated laptops worth UGX 50 million to rural schools, benefiting over 2,700 students.

MTN Uganda HQ has announced that their partners TECNO Uganda handed over 20 laptops to our CEO Mulinge Sylvia M.B.S as part of the#YelloCare2024 activities with the theme Learn Today, Lead Tomorrow: Education for Rural and Remote Communities.

These laptops, worth UGX 50 million, will go to four rural schools in Kyankwazi, Yumbe, Katakwi, and Kalangala. Over 2,700 students, who might never have touched a computer before, will now have access to the digital world. They will be able to learn new skills, explore new opportunities, and dream bigger.

Imagine the excitement of a student who finally gets to use a computer for the first time. These laptops aren’t just machines they are the keys to a brighter future for these young learners and their teachers.

Thank you, TECNO Uganda, for partnering with us to make a real difference. Together, we are giving hope and a better future to these children.
