Potraz Approves Tariff Adjustments for Zimbabwean Telecoms Amid Currency Devaluation

The Postal and Telecommunications Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe (Potraz) has sanctioned a tariff adjustment for local telecommunications companies in light of the recent devaluation of the Zimbabwean Gold (ZWG) currency.

Effective over the weekend, the new rates have been adopted by major telecommunications operators, including Econet and NetOne. This move aims to address the economic challenges currently impacting the sector, enabling these companies to better navigate the fluctuating financial landscape.
