Schneider Electric, a frontrunner in energy management and automation digital transformation, has unveiled plans for a new manufacturing facility in the Hamriyah Free Zone. This facility is set to produce AI-ready data centre solutions to meet the rising demand in the region.

The state-of-the-art facility will focus on the manufacturing and assembly of prefabricated modular data centres, aligning with the UAE’s “Make it in the Emirates” initiative. This initiative aims to stimulate local economic growth and enhance the private sector’s contribution to the UAE’s GDP. Additionally, the facility supports the In-Country Value (ICV) programme, which encourages local investment and production.
