Ethio Telecom CEO Frehiwot Tamru Re-Elected to GSMA Board for a Second Term

Ethio Telecom has announced that their CEO, Frehiwot Tamru, has been re-elected to serve a second term on the GSMA Board of Directors. The GSMA has elected and announced new members of the GSMA Board of Directors for a two-year term beginning 1 January 2025 through 31 December 2026.

The GSMA Board has also elected José María Álvarez-Pallete López, as Chair, and Gopal Vittal as Deputy Chair GSMA, an organization represent- ing the interests of mobile network operators worldwide, has 26 Board members, including senior representatives from global mobile operators as well as smaller independent operators.
