Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited (NIGCOMSAT) recently welcomed a group of young female students as part of the National Girls in ICT Competition, an event organized by the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation & Digital Economy. The initiative aimed to inspire interest in ICT among girls and support a broader goal of inclusion in Nigeria’s technology sector.

At the event, NIGCOMSAT’s team led sessions on satellite technology, sharing practical insights and explaining the various paths within the ICT industry. The event provided students with the chance to learn about satellite systems and potential career paths in the field. NIGCOMSAT’s involvement reflects its commitment to encouraging more women in tech and creating a pathway for girls to contribute to Nigeria’s growing digital economy.
