Benue State Partners with Huawei for a ‘Smart Benue’ Transformation

Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, the Executive Governor of Benue State, recently announced a transformative partnership with Huawei Technologies to build a “Smart Benue State.” Sharing the news on Facebook, Governor Alia highlighted the historic agreement signed at Huawei’s headquarters in Shenzhen, China, marking a major step toward a modern, digitally connected Benue.

This ambitious partnership with Huawei aims to revolutionize infrastructure, enhance security, improve education and healthcare, and create extensive job opportunities for the people of Benue. Governor Alia emphasized the importance of intentional development, underscoring his commitment to advancing the state for the benefit of present and future generations.
