At the 10th Ultra-Broadband Forum (UBBF) in 2024, MTN, the World Broadband Association (WBBA), and Huawei unveiled the MTN SASE (Secure Access Service Edge) solution, marking a new era in digital security and connectivity for African businesses. This launch follows extensive collaboration between the three entities to address the increasing demands of secure, efficient networking solutions that support digital transformation across key sectors, including finance, large-scale enterprises, retail, and energy.

By adopting Huawei’s advanced technology and leveraging WBBA’s insights into broadband developments, MTN is seemingly aiming to establish a secure, agile, and scalable digital framework. The MTN SASE solution is poised to play a pivotal role in Africa’s digital transformation, enabling businesses to navigate complex security landscapes confidently while embracing new digital opportunities.
